About Dr. Kirk Honda
Dr. Kirk Honda, PhD, is a licensed therapist and educator with nearly three decades of clinical experience. After earning advanced degrees in psychology and couple and family therapy from Antioch University, he built a diverse career working with individuals, couples, and families across a wide range of settings. He has specialized in treating complex issues including personality disorders, trauma, and relationship dynamics. A longtime professor and clinical supervisor at Antioch University Seattle, Dr. Honda also brings his expertise to a wider audience through his podcast and YouTube channel, Psychology In Seattle, and has even guest starred in several HG streams and Members' lectures. Will Dr. K be part of the workshop?
No, Dr. K will not be participating in this workshop. The workshop will be led by Dr. Kirk Honda, a licensed therapist and educator with nearly three decades of clinical experience and expertise in personality disorders.
Can I access the workshop recording after the event?
The recording will be available to workshop attendees for 7 days after the event (through August 4th).
What is the refund policy?
You may receive a full refund for your purchase any time before 7/20/2025 12:00 AM CT (7 days before the workshop).
We cannot issue a refund less than 3 days before the event. When you purchase a seat, you are holding a spot that could be occupied by someone else. The 3-day period gives someone on our waitlist enough time to claim your seat.
If a refund is issued, it will be processed to the original method of payment used at time of purchase. We cannot issue a refund to a different credit or debit card (this includes refund requests made through the self-service option). If your credit card or debit card number has changed, but is for the same account (e.g., a new card has been issued for the same account), the refund will be processed to that account.
Is the workshop free with my HG Membership?
No, workshops are not currently included with HG Memberships and must be purchased separately. However, AOE Healers receive a 15% off discount for their seats (this discount cannot be stacked with the early bird discount and will go into effect starting July 2nd).
How long is the workshop?
The workshop is a one-day event that will last 4 hours, consisting of lectures, group discussions, and a general Q&A.
Where will the workshop take place?
The workshop will be hosted on Zoom. The link to the Zoom will be sent out 3 days before the event.
Will there be more workshops in the future?

What if I'm not available on July 27th? Should I still sign up?
Yes! If you can’t make it live, we still recommend signing up. A recording of the workshop will be available on our platform through August 4th, so you can watch it on your own time. While you won’t be able to take part in the live group discussions or reflection exercises, the content and insights from the session will still be valuable.
How is this different from a livestream?
In this workshop, you're not just watching a video or stream. It's a hands-on experience where you'll receive valuable, expert insights, participate in live activities to apply what you learn, and receive additional tools to support you after the workshop!
Why does the workshop cost money?
This workshop involves the dedicated time and expertise of our licensed clinicians. It's a live, interactive experience where you get direct access to valuable information and resources.
The price of $200 allots you 4 hours worth of in-depth guidance from a licensed mental health professional. This evens out to $50/hour of our professionals’ time, where it could cost between $100-200 for just one hour in a therapy setting, or otherwise. This is not a replacement for therapy, so we found this price point reasonable in respect of our professionals’ time.
