Four weeks. Flexible focus.

New activities drop each week to be completed until the end of the month. Join for the ones that interest you most, or aim to complete all four weeks.

Within each, you can select from ways to reflect, connect, & develop skills based on what matters to you—how you care, what you desire, or how you build connection—or you can go deeper and choose to do a bit of it all.

TUTORIAL READY NOW · MAY 1–3

💞 Mini-Anchor Project: Postcard to a Near-Future You 💞

For your tutorial activity, you'll create a short letter from now-you to May-31 you. Write a few sentences, fill out the form, and we'll return it to your inbox at the end of the month so you can see how far you've come.

INSTRUCTIONS

Write yourself a short letter — a few sentences is plenty — and submit it through the postcard form. We'll return it to the email you provide at the end of the month.

There's no required structure, but the letter should give that future you something useful: a snapshot of where you are right now, a glimpse of what shaped you, a question you want answered, a wish, a warning, or some combination. The point isn't depth — it's marking this moment honestly so you have something to compare against at the end of the month.

Future weekly anchor projects will live in the weekly Discord forums and/or in your inbox — with full instructions, format options, and a suggested day-by-day plan, just like this one.

SUGGESTED POSSIBLE FORMS

Anchor projects are creative and flexible — these aren't the only options. If something else calls to you, go for it.

  • 💌
A literal letter. "Dear May-31 me, right now I…"
  • 📸
A quick snapshot list. Where you are with love / desire / relationships, in a few words or even emojis each.
  • 🧬
An origin story. Trace one thing you currently believe about love, desire, or relationships back to where you first learned it. Tell future you whether you still want to believe it.
  • 🔮
An intention list. Things you want to be true by the end of the month, realistic for you right now.
SUGGESTED 3-DAY PLAN

A guideline, not a requirement. Use it if it helps you stay on track.

Day 1 · May 1
Get acquainted. Make sure you're signed up, browse the challenge details, and start thinking about what you'd like to include. Discord folks: drop into the community discussion to compare notes.
Day 2 · May 2
Brain-dump ideas, then pick one. Write (or voice-to-text!) your letter. Aim for the minimum viable version first — if you finish and want to add more, go for it. A few honest sentences is enough.
Day 3 · May 3
Submit through the postcard form. You'll get a confirmation when we receive it. You can also share a snippet in the community discussion if you want others to see your starting point — lots of folks find it encouraging.
Fill out the postcard form →

On Discord? You can use /h2h postcard in any channel instead (after running /h2h join).

FAQ

Do I need to be in or want a romantic relationship?+

Nope! Though this challenge was built to go with the release of Dr. K's Guide to Love, Sex, and Relationships, the activities will apply to connection of any form — friends, family, self, and yes, romantic partners if that's your thing.

What if I need to join late?+

Jump in (or out!) any time. New activities release each week, but all prior content stays open until the end of the month. No penalties, no judgment.

Do I need Discord?+

Nope. You can participate entirely through email. A few activities on the "Community" track won't be doable without being a member of our Discord, but most will have alternatives, and you'll have the Inner Track and IRL options too.

Is this really free? What if I don't have the new Guide?+

Yes. No catch. If you're getting the Guide, this'll help you kick things off, but we want you involved either way!

What if I can't log on every day?+

You don't have to. Pick your pace, pick your track. The challenge and activities are designed to be flexible. You'll get to select off a menu based on what works best for YOU!

I'm more of a lurker — is this for me?+

Yep! The Inner Track is designed for people who process privately. No photos or mandatory sharing are ever required! And if you want to dip your toes into community... we'd love that too.

How do I get started?+

Just put your email in at the top of the page and/or join the HG Discord and look for when the challenge channels open in #announcements! A tutorial task will drop May 1st; the challenge begins on the 4th.
